There is a little more information on the pre-trip checklists that is not in the current video's! Be sure to also download and review the CDL manual sections 11m, 12m, and 13 is what you will be doing for your state exam. Have these items in front of you when watching the video's so you can pause and glance down to make any additional notes for yourself.

4-Point Brake Check

Learn the 4-point Air Brake Check procedure properly by our Lead Trainer. This is how it must be done for the CDL Skills Test.

In-Cab Inspection

Our Lead Trainer continues the CDL Skills Test procedure after conducting the 4-point Air Brake Check and moves to the in-cab inspection and the Tractor and Trailer Spring Brake check. Also known as the 'Tug Test'

Tug Test

Our Lead Trainer continues the CDL Skills Test procedure after conducting the in-cab inspection and conducts the "Tug Test'

External Inspection

Our Lead Trainer continues the process of of the CDL Skills Test procedure as he concludes the last portion of the test, the External Pre-Trip Inspection.
